Local Business Controller – Bogotá

About the role

Reporting to the CFO and part of the Finance management team, the Local Business Controller ensures accurate analytical data in the ERP and timely financial reporting. The role acts as a trusted business partner, providing insights, raising alerts and supporting risk assessment for the North Andean region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate master and reference data in the ERP system (JD Edwards).
• Prepare and deliver financial reports in line with local and Group standards, including analysis, comments and alerts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing cycles, ensuring timely completion.
• Produce management control reports covering profitability from sales to operating profit and monitor working capital ratios.
• Support monthly Business Reviews and act as Finance Business Partner to four Business Units and one subsidiary.
• Implement and monitor controls related to commercial policies, expenditures and rebate analysis.
• Perform inventory reconciliations to ensure consistency between the General Ledger and warehouse sub‑ledger.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Relevant experience in Finance, Controlling or FP&A.
• Strong communication skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of intercompany margins, consolidation processes and IFRS.
• Experience with JD Edwards is highly desirable.
• Advanced level of English (verbal and written).
• Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Bogotá.
