Logistics Account Coordinator

About the role

Charger Logistics, an asset-based carrier with locations across North America, is looking for a strategic and motivated Logistics Account Coordinator. The role covers coordinating inbound and outbound freight, carrier compliance and rate negotiations, with a schedule of Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while keeping track of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
• Ensure carriers comply with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to negotiate profitable rates with customers and third-party carriers.
• Communicate with brokers, carriers and customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners and tracking and expediting shipments.
• Verify and troubleshoot shipping and customs documentation issues, including PODs, BOL and carrier confirmations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business.
• At least 2 years of experience in the supply chain or transportation industry.
• Experience handling FTL shipments and familiarity with North American geography.
• Advanced English skills are a must; ideally based in Bogotá or able to travel there by personal expense once a month.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quick learning of new software.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, working well in a team.
