About the role
Charger logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Logistics Account Manager to strengthen relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities across North America. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring that client needs are met through effective communication, pricing accuracy, and coordinated operational support.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing day‑to‑day and long‑term logistics needs.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure accurate pricing and successful onboarding of new opportunities.
- Participate in rate matrix reviews, profitability analyses, and preparation of customer presentations for large‑spend bids.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer commitments and execute operational tasks.
- Identify and develop new business relationships within target markets.
- Assist the Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation solutions.
- Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity.
- Prepare sales budgets, reports, and expense documentation.
Required profile
- Proven track record in account management, from prospecting to closing deals.
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience in transportation or logistics (preferred).
- Recent degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in analytical or pricing roles is an asset.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
