Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Barranquilla, Colombia. The role involves managing shipments from pickup to delivery, liaising with carriers, drivers and customers, and supporting daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys solving operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates to customers.
• Resolve transportation and service‑related issues efficiently.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries while maintaining service levels.
• Maintain accurate records and update the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Support daily logistics operations and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, dispatch, track & trace or supply chain.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar logistics software.
• Familiarity with load boards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
