Logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Operations Specialist will coordinate end‑to‑end logistics for agricultural commodity shipments from our Bogotá hub. Working on‑site, you will ensure timely transportation, accurate documentation, and seamless communication with carriers, warehouses and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Book and manage transportation services, monitor shipment status and resolve any delays.
• Prepare, review and maintain all required shipping documentation and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
• Track inventory and order status, providing regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with carriers, warehouses and logistics partners to optimise routes and freight costs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase service reliability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret logistics data and performance metrics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for internal and external interactions.
• Experience in transportation management and supply chain operations, preferably in agricultural commodities or international trade.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics and ERP systems.
