Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to lead daily drayage and intermodal operations, develop new business opportunities, and grow existing accounts. The role combines operational oversight with sales responsibilities to ensure efficient container movements and profitable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily drayage and intermodal operations, coordinating container movements from U.S. ports and rail ramps.
• Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Manage carrier capacity, dispatch, and service performance.
• Prepare quotes for drayage, transload, warehousing, and inland transportation services.
• Monitor KPIs, profitability, margins, and overall operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, port requirements, and safety standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor operations team members.
• Partner with leadership to execute business growth strategies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in U.S. drayage or intermodal transportation.
• Proven experience in both transportation operations and sales.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
• Experience managing carriers, owner‑operators, or company drivers.
• Ability to quote freight, negotiate rates, and build customer relationships.
• Proficiency with TMS platforms, transportation software, and Microsoft Office.
