Maintenance Analyst – University Program

About the role

As a Maintenance Analyst in Robot.com’s University Program, you will spend 4‑6 months gaining hands‑on experience with a fleet of delivery robots. Working onsite in Colombia or the United States, you will support the full lifecycle of the robots – from routine maintenance to field testing – while learning how a fast‑paced tech startup operates.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep the robot fleet operational.
• Document all interventions and update inventory of tools, spare parts and assets.
• Execute remote interventions, software updates and hardware‑software testing in the field.
• Manage SIM‑card data connectivity and track device assignments.
• Support logistics requests, including shipping of spare parts, bots and marketing merchandise.
• Act as the on‑site point of contact for operations, assisting with incident response and fleet deployment.
• Prepare maintenance and performance reports for supervisors.
• Assist with campus engagement and cross‑functional initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year university student from Colombia.
• Strong interest in robotics, automation and logistics.
• Ability to work onsite and follow safety and compliance procedures.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and handle occasional field incidents.

Required skills

• Basic hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with software update processes for embedded systems.
• Inventory management and documentation.
