Manager, Accounting

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Global Services is seeking a Manager to lead Controllership services for Talc, Product Liability and other Holding Co. activities, supporting one VP. The role is highly visible, overseeing actuals, cash management, vendor communications and financial business reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee legal vendor and cash management for ~50 vendors, reviewing disbursements and funding requests.
• Review and approve monthly accounting tracking, consolidate financials and coordinate Treasury and Tax confirmations.
• Approve quarterly balance‑sheet reconciliations, monthly journal entries and intercompany approvals.
• Manage charge‑out processing for Product Liability, including accruals for ~16 intercompany relationships.
• Support audit, tax and transformation initiatives, preparing pre‑tax P&L, complying with SOX controls and liaising with PwC and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (advanced degree or CPA/CMA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, with prior managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
• Fluent English and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Experience in pharma or similar regulated industry is a plus.
