Marketing Associate (Event & Content Marketing)

About the role

SellCord is a marketing agency that launches and scales brands exclusively on Walmart Marketplace. It is looking for a Marketing Associate to give hands-on executional support to its Event Marketing and Content Marketing teams. The role covers the day-to-day creation, publishing and distribution of content, and supports digital and in-person events, email campaigns and the marketing database. It is a 40-hour-per-week hybrid position based in Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Create, publish and distribute content across LinkedIn, YouTube, email and the company blog
• Maintain a consistent content calendar so content goes out on time across all channels
• Support digital and in-person events, including pre- and post-event communications and attendee follow-up
• Help create event signage, digital graphics and other promotional and marketing assets
• Research vendors and source merchandise for events and brand initiatives
• Run email campaigns in Mailchimp and HubSpot, from building emails to scheduling and sending
• Support lead generation and database activities, including list management and data hygiene
• Plan and deliver ad hoc marketing projects from start to finish
• Work cross-functionally so senior team members can focus on strategy and campaign development

Required profile

• Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems, preferably Mailchimp and HubSpot
• Good visual judgment and the ability to support the creation of marketing assets such as signage and graphics
• Project management skills, able to plan and deliver ad hoc projects
• Experience supporting digital and in-person events is a plus (or a strong willingness to learn)
• Proactive, resourceful and well organised, with strong time management and written and verbal English
