Marketing Manager

About the role

Lead Platzi's brand and marketing strategy across Colombia and Mexico, driving brand awareness and growth to become a household name.

Key responsibilities

• Define the brand platform (purpose, positioning, personality, tone of voice) and create company‑wide guidelines.
• Ensure consistency across all channels – organic social, YouTube, paid media, CRM, web, events, PR, partnerships, and traditional media.
• Own agency relationships and represent Platzi externally.
• Lead the social media and content team (4 people), setting strategy and standards.
• Develop and execute YouTube strategy for one of the region’s largest channels.
• Grow personal brands of internal voices (founders, teachers, experts) as part of the brand plan.
• Own brand health metrics (awareness, recall, share of voice), reach, traffic, and registration numbers for major campaigns.

Required profile

• 5+ years in brand and marketing, with proven success taking a new or small brand to prominence in Colombia & Mexico.
• Full‑marketing perspective beyond social media.
• Team leadership experience and strong creative judgment.
• Deep knowledge of the local market, culture, media landscape, and audience.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (mandatory).
