Mechanical Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Mechanical Construction Supervisor will lead all mechanical activities on site, ensuring progress, quality, safety and cost targets are met. You will act as the main liaison with subcontractors and coordinate closely with engineering and planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical construction, including trackers, mounting structures, PV modules, fencing, tower erection and HV/MV equipment installation.
• Monitor daily progress, report deviations in quality, schedule, cost and HSSE, and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve construction documents, method statements and work procedures.
• Coordinate pre‑construction meetings, inspections, and quality control activities with SSO and Quality Inspectors.
• Support NCR management, final inspections, testing and project close‑out, ensuring handover of as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro‑Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in EPC environments and medium to large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction practices, industry standards and quality control systems.
• Experience in solar PV and/or high‑voltage projects is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence and fluency in English and the local language.
