About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer Expert to develop high‑quality single‑choice assessment items for AI training. The role is fully remote and contract‑based, focusing on translating advanced mechanical engineering concepts into clear, pedagogically sound questions.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate single‑choice questions rooted in mechanical engineering topics such as solid & structural mechanics, dynamics, vibration, control, and thermal‑fluids.
• Convert complex engineering knowledge into accessible assessment content for AI datasets.
• Document rationales and explanations for each answer choice to support model training.
• Collaborate with project coordinators, adhere to delivery milestones, and use digital tools for record‑keeping.
• Perform quality checks, incorporate feedback, and revise materials as needed.

Required profile

• PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in at least one of the listed domains.
• Proven ability to explain intricate engineering principles in written form.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in educational content creation, assessment design, or technical writing is highly desirable.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently.
