Media Solutions Growth Director - Colombia & Peru

About the role

WPP Media, WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, is looking for a Media Solutions Growth Director for Colombia and Peru. You will be the strategic and commercial driver behind the expansion, maturity and profitability of the group's digital media portfolio, optimizing margins and business delivery within Nexus. You will turn programmatic capabilities, full-funnel 360 product solutions (SEO, performance, retail media, adtech/data) and volume-based direct negotiations with Google, Meta and TikTok into strong business propositions for C-level clients and regional new business pitches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of 10+ people, blending commercial acumen, technical excellence and leadership strategies suited to Gen-Z talent.
• Drive operational rigor in media activation while delivering scalable, sustainable growth across both markets.
• Manage P&L and account margins within agency platforms (Nexus).
• Negotiate volume agreements and performance commitments with major platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok).
• Lead pitch responses and consultative storytelling to C-level decision-makers.

Required profile

• 10+ years in the digital and media agency industry, leading activation, ad operations (Media Ops) and omni-channel strategy in Colombia and/or Peru.
• Proven track record managing operational and commercial teams of 10+ people.
• Experience closing strategic volume deals and delivering pitches to C-level executives.

Required skills

• DSPs and buying platforms (DV360, Xandr, Taboola, Sizmek).
• Full-funnel knowledge of performance, SEO, retail media (Mercado Ads), paid social and content.
• Data and analytics: first-party data, attribution modeling, GA4, DMPs and CDPs.
• Advanced Excel for financial and margin modeling, and PowerPoint/Keynote presentations.
