Medical Advisor – Colombia

About the role

The Medical Advisor will serve as CSL's primary scientific liaison in Colombia, supporting internal teams and external stakeholders with medical expertise on CSL/Vifor products and therapeutic areas. Reporting to the Regional Cluster Medical Affairs Lead, the role combines on‑site and remote work to ensure scientific integrity across all activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific support for marketed products and contribute to life‑cycle management.
• Assist market analysis and pre‑marketing activities for pipeline products.
• Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, health authorities, patient organisations and other national stakeholders.
• Lead national scientific events such as roundtables and advisory boards.
• Prepare scientific documentation for product reimbursement and interact with reimbursement boards.
• Coordinate publication and communication of local clinical research outcomes.
• Initiate, implement and follow up on locally initiated clinical research in line with regional, global and national regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences or a related scientific field.
• Significant experience in medical affairs or clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian health‑care regulations, reimbursement processes and ethical codes.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
