About the role

Rockstar is seeking a full‑time remote Talent Acquisition Specialist to source and assess medical billing professionals for U.S. therapy practices. You will leverage your own full‑cycle billing experience to identify candidates who can effectively manage charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denials, appeals and accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Source qualified medical billing and RCM candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and direct outreach.
• Screen resumes for full‑cycle billing experience, conduct technical phone interviews, and run role‑specific assessments.
• Provide written recommendations on each candidate’s billing strength and readiness.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding hand‑offs and replacement searches.
• Track candidate activity in the ATS and share hiring trends with leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on medical billing covering the full revenue cycle.
• Strong knowledge of payer requirements, EOB interpretation and common denial reasons.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote home office.
• Preferred experience in recruiting or HR, especially within healthcare.

Required skills

• Full‑cycle medical billing (charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denials, appeals, A/R).
• Familiarity with therapy EMR and billing platforms such as WebPT, Prompt, Raintree.
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, workers’ compensation and out‑of‑network billing.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and Google Workspace.
