Medical Director / Senior Medical Director, Neuroscience (Americas)

About the role

CliniRx is seeking a Medical Director or Senior Medical Director to lead Neuroscience clinical trials across the Americas. The role combines medical leadership, safety oversight, and strategic partnership with global sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and strategic oversight as Medical Monitor for Neuroscience trials.
• Advise study teams, investigators, sponsors, and internal stakeholders on protocol and safety issues.
• Lead patient safety assessments, eligibility reviews, benefit‑risk evaluations, and risk‑management strategies.
• Support study design, protocol development, and medical monitoring plans throughout the trial lifecycle.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent, board‑certified in Neurology; additional expertise in Psychiatry is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of medical monitoring experience for Medical Director level (5 years for Senior role) in neurology or related neuroscience indications.
• Previous experience as Medical Director, Senior Medical Director, Medical Monitor, or Clinical Development Physician in CRO or sponsor environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical trial design and execution.
• Comprehensive understanding of ICH‑GCP, FDA, EMA, and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with EDC systems, clinical trial technologies, and data review platforms.
• Ability to interpret complex safety and efficacy data and use psychometric assessments.
