Medical Records Retrieval Clerk (English/Spanish) – Remote

About the role

TalentoHC is seeking a highly organized, bilingual (English/Spanish) Records Clerk to support a U.S.-based personal injury law firm. This fully remote position involves retrieving and managing medical documentation from healthcare providers across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Contact U.S. hospitals, physicians, and medical offices to request and retrieve medical records, billing statements, and related documentation.
• Conduct follow‑ups to resolve delays, discrepancies, or missing information and maintain detailed communication logs.
• Draft and submit authorization forms, requests, and correspondence with healthcare providers.
• Review, analyze, and organize medical records and bills to ensure accuracy and completeness for legal cases.
• Collaborate with internal legal teams to confirm case files are ready for settlement negotiations.

Required profile

• Exceptional English proficiency (C1/C2) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in medical administration, records retrieval, healthcare operations, or medical billing.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.
