Medical Science Liaison – Fixed Term

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) acts as a trusted scientific partner, providing non‑promotional, peer‑to‑peer exchange with scientific leaders and key decision makers. This hybrid role is based in Bogotá and requires extensive travel across Colombia and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional, non‑promotional relationships with national and regional scientific leaders.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical, scientific, pipeline, or product information using approved materials.
• Provide technical and formulary support for health technology assessments and formulary decisions.
• Represent Medical Affairs at local, regional, or international scientific congresses, including pre‑congress preparation and post‑event summaries.
• Gather and synthesize medical insights to inform company strategy and address diagnostic barriers.

Required profile

• MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent terminal degree in life sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL or in clinical research, medical affairs, or pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Therapeutic expertise in vaccines, cardiovascular/atherosclerosis, or immunology is highly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel >50% of the time.
