Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specializing in legal research to join a leading software development organization. The position is fully remote and focuses on analyzing complex legal and regulatory frameworks to guide product development and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to support product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks and tools that automate legal research processes.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Demonstrated experience with regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research methodologies and tools.
