Mid Full Stack Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

About the role

Blossom is looking for a Mid Full Stack Developer to help build and scale high‑availability, mission‑critical applications for credit unions. You will work on both backend and frontend components using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and AWS cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Build and optimise APIs and business logic for scalable applications.
• Create modern React user interfaces using Hooks and component‑based architecture.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and handle webhook‑based events.
• Work with PostgreSQL to design queries and manage data efficiently.
• Deploy and maintain services in AWS (Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, Secret Manager).
• Monitor system performance and logs, ensuring reliability and security.
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficiency in React, including Hooks and state management.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience integrating external APIs and handling webhooks.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Basic knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and Secret Manager.
• Good grasp of Object‑Oriented Programming principles.
