Network Architect – Hybrid Cloud & OT Specialist

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Network Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions that span on-premises data centres, Azure cloud and operational-technology environments. You will work within the Enterprise Architecture team, translating business ambition into concrete network designs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs for enterprise networks across on-premises and Azure environments.
• Lead architecture decisions for Cisco portfolio – routers, switches, firewalls and SD-WAN – covering LAN/WAN, MPLS and data-center fabrics.
• Own Azure hybrid connectivity architecture, including ExpressRoute, VNet hub-and-spoke, VPN Gateway and Azure Firewall placement.
• Provide OT/ICS network guidance, defining IT-OT boundaries, DMZ patterns and segmentation in line with Purdue Model and ISA/IEC 62443.
• Develop structured troubleshooting methodologies and runbooks for Tier 2/3 engineering support.

Required profile

• 9+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, with 3–5 years in a network or enterprise architecture role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement abilities.

Required skills

• Cisco ISR/ASR, Catalyst/Nexus, ACI, ASA/FTD, SD-WAN/Viptela.
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF.
• Azure networking: ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, VNet design, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• OT/ICS network architecture, Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443 standards.
