Night Dispatch Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Night Dispatch Representative to join our fast‑paced Customer Service team. Working the overnight shift, you will monitor shipments, communicate with customers and drivers, and ensure smooth transportation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track active shipments throughout the night, providing real‑time visibility and updates.
• Communicate shipment status, delivery schedules, and service issues to customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate information.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve operational exceptions, delays, and service disruptions.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, delivering timely solutions and follow‑up.
• Prepare overnight reports and relay critical updates to the morning operations team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and foster collaboration with carriers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in transportation and logistics.
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in an analyst or pricing role is an asset.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with proven negotiation ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑moving environment.
