Node Team Lead - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote team of 4,000+ engineers, is looking for a Node Team Lead for its Development Team. The role involves technically overseeing a team of experienced front-end and back-end developers in a fast-paced global team. It suits a natural leader with mentoring experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect Bandit backend systems following best practices.
• Implement and iterate features quickly and tactically.
• Design, extend and implement APIs.
• Maintain high engineering quality through code reviews, unit tests and analytics.
• Create engineering efficiencies through automation and tool development.
• Define engineering processes for product launches and releases.
• Run technical interviews to help grow the engineering team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Node development.
• Experience leading teams, allocating tasks, identifying risks, estimating tasks, managing conflicts and planning.
• Strong experience in coding reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with clients, users and stakeholders, and strong English.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies, design patterns and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with security and large-scale applications.
• Full specialization in backend and frontend development.
• Expert understanding of technology trade-offs and client requirements.
