Node.js Software Engineer – Remote

About the role

INDI is looking for a Node.js Software Engineer to develop and maintain backend applications that power our recruiting platform. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications and backend services.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and micro‑services with databases and third‑party systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver complete solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Debug and optimize applications to ensure performance and reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Node.js development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Express.js or similar backend framework
• RESTful API design
• Micro‑service architecture
• Database integration (SQL/NoSQL)
