OC Analyst – Operating System Support

About the role

The OC Analyst is responsible for administrating and supporting clients’ operating system environments according to best practices, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance. The role involves monitoring alerts, responding to events, and collaborating with application teams to resolve OS‑related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret alerts for OS issues, hardware performance, security vulnerabilities, and basic systems management tasks.
• Manage alerts for Microsoft Windows Server services such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Certificate Authority.
• Respond to events to maintain the highest level of system and infrastructure availability.
• Collaborate with client application teams to resolve operating system, availability, and performance‑related issues.
• Monitor security, backup, and redundancy systems according to predefined standards.
• Support the IT Service Desk, Engineering team, and vendors to expedite issue resolution.
• Review event logs regularly based on organization/client requirements.
• Administer assigned tickets, including documentation, updates, and performance tracking.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in IT, infrastructure, technical support, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server operating system services (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Certificate Authority).
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory services.
• Understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management practices.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and email security solutions.
• Basic understanding of virtualization and cloud computing concepts.
