Open Innovation Leader

About the role

We are seeking an Open Innovation Leader to drive our Global FoodTech Observatory, connect the organization with the worldwide innovation ecosystem and turn disruptive trends into competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s technological and strategic compass, mapping and interpreting emerging technologies across the value chain.
• Design and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and venture scouting initiatives.
• Manage corporate venture capital (CVC) and venture client investment/collaboration vehicles.
• Build and maintain relationships with startups, venture capital firms, accelerators, universities and research centers globally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience leading open innovation, startup scouting or innovation ecosystem programs, preferably in FoodTech, CPG or AgriTech.
• Demonstrated courageous leadership and an entrepreneurial, experimental mindset.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams with a global business perspective.

Required skills

• Experience in venture scouting and managing CVC or venture client models.
• Strong ability to engage with startup CEOs, VCs, accelerators and research institutions.
