Operational Risk Manager

About the role

Revolut is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to strengthen its risk management framework and governance across the business. In this role you will use data‑driven analysis to monitor daily risk exposures, support reporting to internal and external stakeholders, and help embed a robust risk culture throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the first line of defence to identify, assess, document and regularly review operational risks.
• Coach business units on designing and implementing effective controls.
• Develop and maintain operational risk policies, procedures, key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk appetite statements.
• Design quantitative techniques for risk measurement, including stress testing and impact tolerance analysis.
• Own the risk incident management process, ensuring accurate recording and timely reporting of risk events.
• Monitor risk against limits and thresholds, producing regular reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance risk tools and systems, and track KRI breaches to drive remediation.
• Deliver presentations and workshops on risk identification and mitigation.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• 5+ years of experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of core operational risk concepts and ability to interpret complex matters.
• Curious mindset with a drive to understand underlying processes.
• Excellent organisational skills.
