Operations Agent - Air Cargo

About the role

FedEx is hiring an Operations Agent (LO004) to carry out basic administrative tasks and coordinate front-line operations. The role involves scanning and sorting packages, supporting loading and unloading, and providing local customer service under close guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Scan and sort import and export packages
• Support and schedule loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles, and release vehicles for pickup and delivery
• Monitor and help organize the work environment
• Update warehouse, pickup and delivery reports and enter data into internal transport systems
• Participate in dedicated operations, monitor customer performance, and run pre-alerts, reports and KPI data collection
• Handle indoor and outdoor risk management and report pending issues to Security
• Answer emails and assist customers with basic service questions
• Prepare paperwork for inbound and outbound packages (airway bills and addresses) and transfer freight to and from airlines
• Operate a forklift to move freight and support the load captain when needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of operations or clerical experience
• Basic English skills preferred
• Valid driver's license (C1 or C2) and good driving record
• Able to lift up to 25 kg (men) and 12.5 kg (women)
• Able to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
