Ops Team Lead

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a DevOps Team Lead to guide a team of engineers responsible for CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and cloud infrastructure. The role blends hands‑on technical work with leadership, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing DevOps team, set goals, remove blockers, and foster a culture of ownership.
• Coordinate backlog and delivery commitments, aligning work with program objectives.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline reliability, GitOps workflows (e.g., FluxCD), and migration from legacy tools.
• Manage cloud infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) on Azure/AWS, enforcing security and consistency.
• Ensure observability, incident response, and post‑incident reviews across platforms.
• Uphold security, data governance, and support audit/compliance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and advanced English proficiency.
• 5+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) and GitOps frameworks (FluxCD, Argo CD).
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Terraform and a major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).

Required skills

• Python, Bash, PowerShell scripting.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform).
• CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• GitOps frameworks (FluxCD, Argo CD).
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
