Ops Team Lead

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a DevOps Team Lead to guide a group of engineers responsible for CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and cloud infrastructure. The role blends hands‑on technical work with leadership, coaching, and cross‑functional partnership to keep platforms reliable, secure, and continuously improving.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing DevOps team, set goals, remove obstacles, and foster a culture of ownership.
• Own the reliability and evolution of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (e.g., FluxCD), ensuring automated, reproducible deployments.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) on Azure/AWS/GCP, enforcing security and consistency.
• Ensure observability (logging, metrics, alerts) and lead incident response and post‑mortem reviews.
• Maintain enterprise security and compliance across the DevOps toolchain and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and advanced English proficiency.
• Typically 5+ years of DevOps/platform engineering experience with prior technical leadership.
• Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins.
• GitOps frameworks: FluxCD, Argo CD.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code: Terraform on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Scripting/automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Observability/monitoring tools and incident management practices.
