Order Coordinator

About the role

The Order Coordinator ensures that merchandise is available on time and meets PriceSmart’s merchandising standards. This role manages inventory levels, places replenishment orders, and acts as a liaison between vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventories and items within budget constraints.
• Place replenishment orders with vendors and track order status to meet on‑time delivery guidelines.
• Integrate PriceSmart’s philosophy and the Six Rights of Merchandising into daily operations.
• Communicate with Buyers/Assistant Buyers regarding vendor or item issues.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal personnel.
• Research and improve distribution methods to Distribution Centers.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Motivation to learn product categories and international logistics.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or working toward proficiency is preferred.
