OTC QA Specialist I

About the role

The OTC QA Specialist I ensures quality, accuracy and control across the Order‑to‑Cash process. You will perform transaction reviews, cash application audits and support credit risk administration while maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily quality reviews and audits of cash application transactions across lockbox, ACH, wire, virtual card and credit card payments.
• Research, reconcile and resolve unidentified, unapplied, short, duplicate or over‑payments.
• Maintain detailed tracking of unidentified cash, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive reduction initiatives.
• Support month‑end and year‑end cash reconciliation, account reconciliations and audit activities.
• Process new customer account setups, validate master data and conduct foundational credit reviews.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, billing, collections or finance shared services.
• Strong understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes and internal control requirements.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of transactional data and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with ACH, wire, lockbox, virtual card and credit card payment processing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or Oracle.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
