Payroll Analyst

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Payroll Analyst in Bogota. Under guidance, you will make sure salaries are paid on time and accurately, in line with the corporate timetable and financial policies. The role sits within the payroll function and works closely with the Manager, Payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the management of payroll taxes.
• Process the payroll general ledger interface and distribute reports to internal users.
• Prepare and submit benefit-related contributions to third parties, with Manager, Payroll review and approval.
• Monitor payroll cash activities, including tax deposits and filings handled by the third-party service provider.
• Reconcile salary expense to the general ledger for each payroll run.
• Provide reports and answer inquiries about payroll data.
• Submit journal entries as approved by the Manager, Payroll.
• Monitor payroll cash daily and keep payroll data accurate and high quality.
• May help resolve organizational and coding issues and support audit data collection.
• Support changes to policies and procedures and take part in continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 1 year of experience with payroll processes required, or an equivalent combination.
• Confidentiality and good judgement within procedures.
• Ability to prioritize, coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and to stay flexible during month-end and year-end closings.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and clients.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance and Payroll software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical and numeracy skills.
