Payroll Analyst – Lead Payroll Operations

About the role

The Lead Payroll Analyst will manage end‑to‑end payroll operations for assigned populations, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with Colombian regulations while driving continuous process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complete payroll cycles, including off‑cycle runs and adjustments.
• Maintain compliance with Colombian payroll laws, prepare audit documentation, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Handle Tier 2/3 payroll escalations, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Validate system integrations, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Standardize payroll processes, support automation initiatives, and train junior team members.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of progressive payroll administration or shared‑services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex payroll escalations and high‑volume support.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian payroll compliance, tax regulations, and audit readiness.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with enterprise payroll systems such as ADP or SAP Payroll.
• Expertise in payroll calculations, reconciliation, reporting and adjustments.
