PHP & WordPress Websites Webmaster (Remote – LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PHP & WordPress professional to own and operate our web platforms across the full lifecycle. The role is fully remote and supports business‑critical sites that require high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end website lifecycle, from development through production.
• Monitor uptime, performance, and availability; troubleshoot outages and bottlenecks.
• Perform regular audits, upgrades, backups, disaster‑recovery testing, and security hardening.
• Administer WordPress environments (dev, staging, prod), including plugins, themes, core updates, and custom development.
• Develop, modify, and maintain custom PHP applications and integrations.
• Maintain MySQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Configure and manage Linux‑based servers, WP Engine, DNS, SSL certificates, and email DNS records.
• Implement security best practices, manage WAF, Cloudflare, vulnerability assessments, and malware scanning.
• Support third‑party API integrations and automate recurring maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional experience with PHP and WordPress development.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Proven track record managing high‑availability, business‑critical websites.
• Experience working with hosting providers, security teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
