About the role
The Painter I works on the manufacturing floor, setting up, operating and maintaining equipment used for machining, processing, assembly and packaging. The role ensures products are produced to specification, on schedule and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate machine tools, chemical processing, assembly and packaging equipment according to production specifications.
- Move, pack and sort raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor product quality, identify defects and trigger re‑manufacturing when needed.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools gained through work experience or vocational training.
- Works under moderate supervision; routine problems may require interpretation of procedures.
- Ability to communicate information that needs explanation or interpretation.
