Plant CSD Leader

About the role

The Plant Continuous Skills Development (CSD) Leader builds workforce capability by deploying, executing and sustaining the CSD operating model so that plant operations remain safe, stable, efficient and high performing. The role turns global standards into practical shopfloor execution and links operations, HR, regional CSD and frontline teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and embed global CSD standards, frameworks and processes into plant plans, routines and daily management systems.
• Partner with plant leadership and HR to integrate skills standards into workforce management, staffing, development and performance discussions.
• Lead end-to-end capability development, including skills assessment, training, certification and reinforcement aligned with plant priorities.
• Manage capability assessment, tracking, reporting and data quality using global HR and learning systems.
• Improve CSD processes and system adoption by reducing manual work, resolving issues with HRIT and process owners, and sharing best practices.
• Lead plant-level CSD governance, monitor KPIs and implementation effectiveness, support maturity assessments and audits, and share insights with regional and global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, engineering, business or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications in HR, Manufacturing Excellence, Learning & Development or related fields are preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, workforce capability development or learning & development, including hands-on experience with Lean/TPM/WCM operating systems and capability frameworks in plant settings.
• Proven experience partnering with plant HR, operations leadership and frontline teams; experience in training/coaching, change management, matrix organizations and HR/learning systems is preferred.
