Preconstruction Manager – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, factory pricing, and bid management for our international client. This fully remote position offers the chance to work with U.S. construction standards while collaborating with sales and purchasing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and competitive pricing proposals for construction projects.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs from drawings and specifications, identifying scope gaps and potential risks.
• Manage bid deadlines, RFIs, addenda, and submission requirements, ensuring timely and compliant proposals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or bid management within the construction industry.
• Proven knowledge of U.S. construction processes, standards, and project workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple active bids simultaneously.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and traceable estimating.
• Cost estimating and budgeting techniques.
• Factory pricing and supplier quotation analysis.
• Material takeoffs and interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
