Private Funds Operations Specialist

About the role

AgilityFeat is building a nearshore implementation team in Colombia for a U.S. fintech client in the private funds industry. The team works closely with the U.S.-based implementation team, and the role is remote with full-time hours aligned to Eastern business hours. Payments are made monthly in US dollars.

Key responsibilities

• Own a substantial part of a larger financial implementation or a full single-entity implementation end to end, with minimal oversight.
• Identify edge cases independently and propose solutions rather than escalating every issue.
• Provide guidance to Associates on specific pieces of work.
• Work closely with the U.S.-based Implementation, Product and Engineering teams, surfacing issues found during testing and implementation.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting operations, and 1+ year working directly with private funds.
• Solid working knowledge of private fund structures, calculations, data and workflows; able to own complex work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English (B2+) for daily coordination with a U.S. team.
• More experienced candidates may be placed in a more senior role.

Required skills

• Demonstrated comfort managing large, complex data sets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Preferred: track record implementing or configuring software or processes, ideally SaaS or cloud-based, and hands-on use of AI tools to build or support automations.
