Processing Analyst – Loan Operations

About the role

The Processing Analyst moves loan files through underwriting to closing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely communication with customers and internal teams. The role operates on a 9 am‑6 pm EST schedule, Monday‑Friday, with occasional extra hours to meet business demands.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned loan files, prioritize urgent items, and update status notes.
• Contact customers to collect missing documents and answer questions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Underwriting, Closing, Title, Valuation, Legal, and other teams to keep files progressing.
• Monitor pipeline, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure files meet quality standards and SLA targets before moving to the next stage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in banking, finance, or commercial lending.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities.

Required skills

• Loan Origination System (LOS) or similar loan processing platform.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• DocuSign for electronic signatures.
• Zoom or other video‑verification tools.
• Microsoft Office / Google Workspace for document creation and sharing.
