About the role
The Procurement Operations Associate supports the procurement management team in delivering cost‑effective purchasing solutions for the organization’s daily operations. Based in Medellin, the role involves routine problem‑solving, adherence to established guidelines, and collaboration with a dedicated team.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase orders and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Assist in supplier identification, qualification, proposal requests, and negotiations.
- Monitor contract delivery, ensure compliance with sourcing strategies, and analyze procurement results.
- Support supplier performance management and cost‑optimization initiatives.
- Work within a rotational shift schedule as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement operations.
- Fluent Spanish (C2 level).
- Primary skill: Procurement Operations (P5 level).
- Secondary skill: Microsoft Copilot for Power BI (P4 level).
