Procurement Technician

About the role

The Procurement Technician will support aviation procurement activities in Colombia, ensuring compliance with FAR, DoD, ITAR and local customs regulations. This role involves managing purchase orders, supplier databases, and technical documentation for aeronautical parts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and audit purchase orders under FAR and DoD procurement requirements.
• Consult aeronautical catalogs, parts breakdowns, and technical manuals to obtain accurate pricing and specifications.
• Develop Requests for Purchase, quotes, and bid forms for aeronautical material.
• Maintain purchase order audit records and supplier databases.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration, or at least 5 years of aviation procurement experience.
• Minimum five years of experience preparing purchase orders under FAR or DoD requirements.
• Knowledge of ITAR, U.S. and Colombian customs procedures.
