Professional QAQC Specialist – Hydrocarbons

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC professional to support our hydrocarbon projects across Colombia. The role involves conducting laboratory tests, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document laboratory testing for oil and gas samples.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate logistical aspects of sample collection and analysis.
• Provide technical support and customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in data analysis and reporting of test results.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Pure Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Preferably experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong mathematical competence.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work on‑site.
• Ability to work in a team, coordinate logistics, lead tasks and attend to client needs.
