Project Architect for US Multifamily & Mixed-Use Projects (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect based in Colombia to join a US‑based architecture team working on high‑quality multifamily and mixed‑use projects in New York City. The role is fully remote and involves leading design from concept through construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of 2–3 multifamily and mixed‑use projects simultaneously.
• Produce and review detailed architectural drawings and construction documents, ensuring technical accuracy and code compliance.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design and other consultants to integrate multidisciplinary information.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify design challenges and develop effective solutions throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience as a Project Architect, preferably on medium‑rise or high‑rise residential projects.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, US‑based environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit for architectural design and documentation.
• Deep understanding of architectural detailing and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations and architectural standards, especially US/NYC codes.
• Experience coordinating with structural, MEP and other consultants.
