Project & Design Procurement Specialist (Remote Support)

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Project & Design Procurement Specialist to support our portfolio of hotel new‑construction and renovation projects. Working remotely, you will be measured by the successful delivery of cost‑controlled, value‑engineered outcomes and on‑time logistics coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Verify design compliance by cross‑checking architectural and interior drawings and performing accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering and prioritize high‑impact investment areas.
• Resolve quantity discrepancies across multiple plan sets and present findings to leadership.
• Source vendors, obtain full quotes (including freight, duties, lead times) and manage contractor quotations.
• Prepare and present aggregated budgets in a clear format for review.
• Create purchase orders, process payments, and coordinate deliveries to ensure correct quantities and condition.
• Maintain organized project document drives, track construction progress photos, and update brand‑specific portals (e.g., Marriott OFIS).
• Review QA reports, develop cost‑effective remediation plans, and generate action plans with budgets after failed QA visits.
