Project Manager – EPIC & STRIDES (Colombia)

About the role

The Project Manager will support the Project Director in delivering the EPIC and STRIDES initiatives in Colombia. This position bridges technical and operational teams to ensure the projects meet their scope, schedule, budget and quality targets while aligning with donor expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of EPIC and STRIDES, ensuring technical, operational, financial and contractual objectives are met.
• Oversee project planning, implementation and performance monitoring to deliver outputs on time and within budget.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including technical, finance, procurement and administrative staff.
• Identify, track and mitigate project risks and issues, recommending corrective actions to senior leadership.
• Support the Project Director in strategic decisions, stakeholder engagement and development of implementation plans.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, partners, clients and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with donor, client, organizational and regulatory requirements, including quality assurance and reporting.
• Represent the Project Director in meetings and decision‑making forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, donor‑funded health projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Familiarity with global health security initiatives and public‑health surveillance.
