Project Manager - Software Solutions Implementation

About the role

Sutherland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software solutions implementation projects for its global clients. The role involves end‑to‑end project delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication while working in a hybrid model from our Bogotá office.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects across all phases, ensuring scope, time, cost and quality targets are met.
• Manage project risks, issues and mitigation plans, providing visibility to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams, acting as the single point of contact for customers and internal forums.
• Oversee budget, revenue forecasting and financial reporting for each project.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management methodologies and share lessons learned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a matrix environment.
• Experience delivering full software SDLC projects for international clients.
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships and manage large, simultaneous projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in systems engineering or related field.
• PMP certification is desirable.
