Public Affairs & Market Access Director – Colombia

About the role

The Public Affairs & Market Access Director will lead Sinovac’s public affairs, government engagement, market access and policy strategy in Colombia, ensuring appropriate patient access to the vaccine portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute public affairs and government engagement strategy, maintaining relationships with national and sub‑national stakeholders.
• Monitor health policy, legislation, procurement and financing, representing Sinovac in policy discussions and technical forums.
• Design country‑level market access strategies, assess financing and reimbursement mechanisms, and create stakeholder‑specific value propositions.
• Engage with the Programa Ampliado de Inmunizaciones (PAI) to identify opportunities for Sinovac’s vaccines and support public‑health initiatives.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to anticipate policy changes and support registration, importation and commercialization activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Political Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in public affairs, government affairs, market access or health policy, preferably in pharma/biotech.
• Proven experience engaging senior government and healthcare stakeholders in Colombia.
• Strong understanding of the Colombian healthcare system and vaccination programs.

Required skills

• Native or professional fluency in Spanish.
• Advanced/professional proficiency in English.
