Public Health and Social Projects Manager

About the role

The Public Health and Social Projects Manager will lead Colgate’s “Bright Smiles Bright Futures” (BSBF) program and related public‑health initiatives across the Andean region. The role serves as the primary liaison between Colgate’s equity teams, government bodies, universities, NGOs and oral‑health stakeholders to embed corporate social responsibility into consumer campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the BSBF program and regional public‑health projects, acting as the main point of contact for equity teams.
• Manage third‑party agencies to deliver oral‑health education and kits to school‑aged children.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with Ministries of Health, NGOs and dental faculties to promote policy change and joint collaborations.
• Oversee program governance, set KPIs and monitor compliance with legal and internal quality standards.
• Facilitate evidence‑based advocacy by leveraging public‑health and nursing programs to generate clinical support for product use.
• Adapt global assets for local relevance, ensuring BSBF materials and digital tools are effective for the Andean market.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Public Health, Marketing or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of experience in public relations, government relations or regulated environments within oral‑care or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven experience managing budgets.
• Advanced level of English.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Andean region.
