Public Information Intern – Video & Photography

About the role

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is seeking a motivated intern to support its Public Information unit in Bogota. The role focuses on capturing, editing, and managing visual content that documents the Office’s events, activities and official engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in photographing and filming events, meetings and outreach activities.
• Support the selection, editing and organization of photos and video clips for internal and external communication.
• Help develop visual materials such as graphics, short videos and photo essays for outreach campaigns.
• Maintain and catalogue photo and video archives, ensuring proper metadata and storage.
• Provide logistical support for public information and communication initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently completed a graduate program, or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree.
• Academic background in communications, photography, video, audiovisual production or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish; working knowledge of English and/or French is an advantage.
